There are many different techniques for performing a brow lift or a forehead lift. The choice of technique is determined on a case by case basis and each patient’s needs.
Coronal brow lift
A coronal brow lift is done by hiding an incision in the scalp, behind the hairline, that extends from ear to ear.
Hairline brow lift (trichial)
A hairline brow lift (trichial) may be ideal for patients with very high foreheads, because the hairline will not be raised.
Temporal brow lift
Temporal brow lift can be performed if only a portion of the eyebrow needs to be raised.
Endoscopic brow lifts
Endoscopic brow lifts are performed through 3-5 small incisions hidden in the scalp, and avoids the large scar in the scalp, while preserving scalp sensation.
